Mr. Nitin R Wadhwani

nitinwNitin is a Science graduate from Mumbai, with a Diploma in Radio Electronics. He has Anchored Mumbaiites for Child Rights (M4CR), a CRY initiative, for almost 5 years, before proceeding to establish CACR, a NGO registered as a Section 25, Not for Profit Company. He has also been volunteering and helping other ALM’S and citizens associations to help improve the quality of education in corporation schools of Mumbai.
From time to time he keeps on interacting with concerned authorities in the Education Department for overall improvement in functioning and quality education in Government Schools for underprivileged children.
Nitin likes to network with like minded NGOs in the field of education and health to strengthen and supplement the system. Nitin Says: “I strongly believe in creating awareness and in citizens’ participation on child rights issues with focus on ensuring free, quality and compulsory education for all children.”

Dr. Richa Singh

Richa is a dreamer, doctor, sports fan, amateur painter, and voracious reader. She has completed her graduate degree in Dental Surgery from Mumbai and obtained a professional diploma in management from Thadomal Shahani trust, Mumbai. She also holds a certificates in Management Principles as well as CSR and Value creation from Audencia Nantes School of management.

Richa is passionate about the causes of education and healthcare and she has volunteered with NGOs such as A.G.N.I. and C.R.Y. She has been part of this start-up team from the genesis of this non-profit company and has played an active role to build and expand the impact and reach of the organization ever since.

Mrs Indrani Malkani

Indrani Malkani nee Mukherjee was born in Calcutta (Kolkata) and graduated from Loreto College .She has recently received the Loreto College – Alumnae Achiever’s Award – Centenary Year in February 2012.

In time she rose to the position of Conventions and Conference Manager and coordinated various National and International events. Her Hotel career ended when she married Capt. Ashok Malkani and relocated to Mumbai in 1989.

In April 2000, The Little Gibbs Roads ALM ((Advance Locality Management) was started by her and her colleague. This ALM was instrumental in starting the BMC’s integrated Relay Transport System of segregated waste collection in November.

In 2002 the ‘Model School Bus System’ was conceptualized and implemented by Indrani Malkani in partnership with the Mumbai Traffic Police and the Cathedral and John Connon School. This system was accepted as a model on which the State of Maharashtra has based its Policy of Transportation of School Children.

In 2012, she involved her trust VCAN in the particular matters of Revision of Electoral Rolls, Voter Registration/Deletion and which would positively impact Voter Turnout. As Trustee, V Citizens Action Network (VCAN),and Founder Trustee & Hon Secretary of Malabar Hill Residents’ Association, she is affiliated with many non profit organisations, citizens groups and NGO’s.

In 2002 she received the award for “Swaacha Mumbai Abhiyan organized by MCGM and also received the Mumbai Police Gaurav Patra and Medal in September 2012. Indrani was featured among 26 Mumbai Heroes by the Mumbai Mirror – 22nd/27th June 2013.



Mr. Mohinder Pal Singh Bachher

Mohinder Pal Singh Bachher is a businessman trained in Marine equipment Sales & Support. His Marine business includes selling equipments and spares for ships, representing marine equipment manufactures from U.K, New Zeland, and Germany amongst others from India.

He has also undertaken first level training for Water Jets, Out Board Motors and Stabilisers. He lives in Mumbai with his wife Jatinder Pal Kaur and two children Payal Arora and Harpreet Arora who are now married and settled in Delhi.

Mr. M.P.SINGH has been the Past President of the Rotary Club of Bombay Bandra and is involved in many social activities looking after the under privileged. He is associated with the Guru Harkishan School, Santa Cruz west as a Life Member, and the H West Ward federation. Being a very Social person he is also connected with many social and cultural organizations and is approachable for any call of duty. He advocates and endorses CACR activities and strongly believes in creating awareness in citizens participation on Child Rights issues with focus on ensuring free, quality & compulsory education for all children.


Mr. Dilmohan Nidharak


Dilmohan is an I.T Developer, Website Designer, Activist, Movie Buff and Sports Enthusiast. He has done his B.E in Computer Engineering from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (T.S.E.C), Mumbai. He has worked with Infosys as a CRM developer and is now the founder and C.E.O of VirtuoSky, a website development company.

He has been a fervent supporter of the cause for Child rights and teaches Computers to school children in Municipal schools. He is actively involved in youth wing of CACR, handles the I.T wing of CACR and has played an active role in maintaining and developing the website.

Dilmohan Says: “Education is the most important development aspect for a society or nation. CACR has been striving hard to educate the masses about child rights. With public involvement, a positive change can be brought about in the system.”
